Who the heck is this guy anyway?

• I have a biology B.A. from UC Santa Cruz (GO BANANA SLUGS!) and a biology Ph.D. from UC San Diego (although they probably regret that...)
• I'm a post-doc at the Keck Graduate Institute of Applied Life Sciences. You may have heard of it: Ralph Nader doesn't like us very much.
• I'm a long-time Apple Macintosh user and advocate.
• I'm an even longer time public radio listener and confirmed NPR addict. I listen mostly to KPCC and KCRW but probably ought to be listening to more KPFA and KPFK.
