Tidbits
The Raven will have a light posting schedule today.

You can always get your weird on at Jim Romenesko's Obscure Store and Reading Room, like this article about a Detroit cop who's been issuing citations for "failure to use parking brake when parking." They don't fool around with you in Motor City.

How They See It

If you're wondering what the Arab take on the big anniversary was, the Arab News gives a fairly representative picture. You can enjoy informative news that is sincere and devout and, well, here's an op-ed pieced titled Where in the World is Bin Laden?

Thousands of innocent Afghans paid with their lives for a crime they had not committed while the accused escaped untouched. A country that lived in the misery of the Middle Ages was bombed back into the Stone Age. A regime, chosen and protected by America, was led by corrupt, weak and inept leaders who put a fragmented Afghanistan back at the top of the chart of drug-exporting countries.
Interesting stuff, but they really need a better "Page 5 Girl."
