Wishful Thinking

One of the nice things about living in the American Deep South is the quality of the bumper stickers you get to read while sitting in traffic, e.g., "Forget? Hell!" [superimposed on a Confederate flag]. Another bright point is the "Letters to the Editor" section in my daily paper. Nothing beats sitting out on the deck with a cup of coffee in the morning while strains of Mozart waft through the garden, and then running across an item like this:

How many times have we heard or read in recent months how a mother drowns her five children, a mother stabs her daughter 30 times, a mother placing her baby in a hot oven or hearing a madman has raped and murdered a little girl?

In a large number of these cases we read they have heard voices telling them to do this awful thing. Many of your readers may not realize this, the Bible tells us these voices are real. According to John 10:10, Satan comes to rob, steal, kill and destroy.

There is a very simple way to stop all this from happening to our children and grandchildren. Before you get out of bed every day just say out loud "I cover my children and my grandchildren and my neighbors' children with the blood of the Lord Jesus Christ." Satan hates the blood and the name of Jesus and cannot cross over that blood covering.

"In the name of Jesus Christ, I bind Satan and all his sex-perverted and lust demons off these children."

It works. It works. It works.

If every parent and grandparent will do this, the killings, the abuse, the incest, the rape and molestations will all stop. If you know of someone who is hearing these strange voices, you need to get them to a church whose pastor can bind those demons off quickly.

The possibility that the person who wrote this has a driver's license gives me the willies.
