Eric’s Spicy Pizza Night. Get off work.  If you live in a benighted corner of Long Island City to which pizzerias don’t deliver, go to a place in Astoria that actually makes acceptable pizza, and order a pie with pepperoni and onions.  Carry it home on the subway, even though you could walk, because it’s cold and it’s going to snow. Put it in an oven. When your wife comes home from her drink with the girls at work, turn on the oven. Drink a vodka tonic while catching up on your Atlantic.  When pizza is hot, sprinkle with copious amounts of pepper flakes and garlic powder. For best results, eat in front of the TV while watching Buff, Season 3 on DVD. If you like your ladies with back, or just want to humiliate your wife, leave your last piece so she eats it and feels like shit. Friday night – Soufflé again.  No fish this time – more tomatoes!  It’s like a midwinter dream come true…. 7:49:11 AM    comment []
