Premier Broadcasting Company,
A subsidy of Clear Channel Communications

Questiongate

Talking Points for the
Excellence In Broadcasting Network
for December 10, 2004

Rush et al -

As I am sure all of you are aware, an outrageous attempt was made yesterday by the elite media to try and discredit the Bush Administration and it's campaign against terrorism. A soldier - one Spc. Thomas Wilson - asked a rude and embarrassing question to Defense Secretary Rumsfeld.

While superficially the question related to vehicle armor, the clear implication was that Rumsfeld and the Defense Department is corrupt and incompetent. The purpose was not to obtain information on this highly disputed issue, but to discredit both Rumsfeld and the Bush administration. This could not be more clear.

I'm sure you know what followed next. It was soon revealed that this vile query did not originate with the soldier in question, but with Chattanooga Times Free Press Reporter Edward Lee Pitts. As outrageous as this is, it should not be unexpected. It will be the EIB Network's proud duty to come down on this like a ton of bricks.

Attached you will find a copy of an email sent by Pitts titled 'Way to go'. You will be disgusted to see that he describes the event as "one of my best days as a journalist". It's up to us to see that today goes down as one of his worst. I know this will be child's play for you all after your stunning success with Dan Rather, but it's important to always keep in mind that to destroy the message, all we need do is destroy the messenger.

Keep the faith, keep the will, keep the power.

CEO, Excellence in Broadcasting Network
