Barbara Predicts!

Noted psychic Barbara Bush, appearing
on the Stan Keaton morning show (WBZ Boston), has revealed her latest
predictions for the future, and they don't seem to bode well for another
former first lady.
Wearing a maroon robed decorated
with cute but tasteful astrological symbols, Ms. Bush stared deeply into her
crystal ball, and then broke out into that beatific smile of hers. "She's
smiling beatifically," commented Keaton, trying to fill the dead air. "Oop,
I think she's about to say something."
"I see... I see Hillary Rodham
Clinton receiving the nomination as Democratic candidate for president in
2008."
"That's an exclusive," shouted
Keaton. "Don Imus eat your heart out! Now tell me, Ms. Bush, what else do
you see? Do you see Hillary winning?"
"No," said Bush, her voice
rising like a banshee. "Never. She shall never be the first female
president. She shall go down in defeat. No Clinton shall ever rule again."
"Whew! This is great radio folks! Woo woo! You're listening to the Stan 'The
Man' Keaton morning show on WBZ! Now let's get down to business. Who
do you see topping the charts a week from now?"
"I see strong sales for the new Beck CD, a very strong showing. However, I
foresee that 50 Cent will hold on to the top slot for one more week." |
