Hello, I'm Kathy Difford with a Now News Update. Our E! Network meteorologist tell us that Hurricane Rita has now been downgraded to a category 3 storm, which is two categories less dangerous than a category 5 storm. Unfortunately, it is also two categories more dangerous than a category 1 storm, a category which is by no means just a piece of cake. Meanwhile, rumors are flying that Tom Hanks is thinking of leaving his actress wife Rita Wilson for lovely cokehead Kate Moss. Although the two claim to be 'just good friends', E! Entertainment Network critics point out that Rita has recently been downgraded to a category 3 star, following her flaccid work in such recent non-blockbusters as 'Raise Your Voice' and 'The Chumscrubber'. Hello, I'm Kathy Difford with a Now News Update. President Bush continues to warn the American people that abandoning his Iraq crusade would hand the generic terrorists a big victory.  Prince Saud al-Faisal, the Saudi foreign minister, has a different take. The New York Times reports today that the Prince has been warning the Bush administration in recent days that Iraq was hurtling toward disintegration, a development that he said could drag the region into war. Who asked him? Would Prince Saud al-Faisal also disagree with the name that Reese Witherspoon has given to her English bulldog. The legally blonde star of current box office smash 'Just Like Heaven' has named her furry companion after the late Frank Sinatra.  Reese claims that Sinatra is hubby Ryan Phillippe's favorite singer. Hello, I'm Kathy Difford with a Now News Update. In New Orleans the rains have returned, and with them come the promise of more damage. E! has learned that the city's hard hid Ninth Ward is the site of renewed flooding, as an early surge has cause water to overflow the levee protecting that section of town. And speaking of flooding, there has be a tremendous surge of bad news for supermodel Kate Moss. The love interest of Jude Law was recently dropped as the spokesmodel for Burberry's after pictures of her doing cocaine were published in the Daily Mirror. Now rumors are swirling that Kate may also lose the lucrative Sienna Miller account. The E! Network family extends their heartfelt hopes to Ms. Moss.
