Rove Ready for a Party Weekend
"I am going to have a great Friday and a fantastic weekend
and hope you do too," Karl Rove told reporters last night, as he prepared to
leave Washington for Biloxi, where he will attend the thirty-ninth annual
Blues and Catfish Festival.
"Gonna eat me a big ole catfish, gonna get down to some
bayou blues, gonna have me a tall Budweiser, I deserve it cause I've paid my
dues," Rove growled, in a spot-on imitation of Long Dog Madison, the 84 year
old master of the Cajun bagpipes.
The jubilant Rove has been assured that he will not be
indicted today by special prosecutor Patrick J. Fitzgerald. "I may not be
indicted at all," said Rove. "Matter of fact, matter of fact. Too bad about
Scooter, though. Maybe he should take singing lessons, if you know what I
mean." |
