Five Stars

with Richard Pryor and Christopher Jones in
'Wild in the Streets'
Shelly Winters was the sort of broad that you
wanted to smack around - she was asking for it, she deserved it, and by God,
you were gonna pay for it in guilt and aggravation.
She was so friggin needy. She got her
comeuppance again and again: murdered by the Reverend Robert Mitchum in
'Night of the Hunter', played for a fool - a fool! - by hubby James Mason in
'Lolita', and put out to pasture on a high dose of sunshine by ingrate
President Frost in 'Wild in the Streets'. She deserved it, I'm telling you.
She deserved it.
