Nice Treaty gets Green Light From the looks of it, Ireland has reversed its previous rejection of the Nice Treaty. There was a big increase in the turnout, likely to have been prompted by a number of factors.

Firstly, the vote was held on a Saturday, for the first time. Secondly, on the last voting day the weather was awful. The weather this time was sunny and clear. Thirdly, the campaign this time was much more active. It was bound to have caught people's attention.

It looks like I can go back to work and not have to worry about the Polish guy throwing things over the divider wall at me.

--Edit-- Karlin Lillington has a good post on the vote results.
