Why not express yourself, for Cash!
I was contacted recently by the editor of Rocky Road, an environmental magazine based in Co. Clare. She asked me to mention that they are running a competition at the moment, generously funded by Clare County Council's Environmental Section. With a prize fund of 900 Euros to allocate to the winners and runners up, this is a good opportunity.
Anne writes
"The rocky road Picture & Word competition is not a traditional photo competition, nor is it truly a writing competition: participants will have to submit a photo and a short text on the theme "The Celtic Tiger Years." Photo and text will have to form a self-standing article suitable for publication in rocky road magazine. Detailed competition rules, a sample entry and application form are available on the Rocky Road website or by sending a self-addressed stamped envelope to: Anne Ruimy, rocky road environmental magazine, Mullagh, Co. Clare, Ireland."
