After 30 hours of travelling, I finally made it back last night. What a change - from sunburn, temperatures in the mid-30s (C) and the smell of nearby bushfires to frigid -15 C in Minnesota. Curiously, both Tasmania and Minnesota are suffering from a drought - of rain in Tasmania and of snow in Minnesota.
Again, I'm not going to make a deliberate effort to catch up with everything I've missed this month. I have a few ideas of things to write about, but not right now, because my jetlag is catching up with me ...
