A picture named juicer.jpgRayne (real name - see link on the title bar) told me that what I needed to make massive amounts of tomato juice is a tomato press. When there were no more tomatoes, I decided to postpone a purchase until another season came along. Then 25 pounds of tomatoes came along and this tool from Lehman's had some features that were really appealing: optional cones for other tasks (berries, grapes, pumpkin, and salsa), a clamp to hold it to the table, and an oversized auger ("We used it to make 90 quarts of applesauce from five bushels in less than three hours") to speed things up. The pizza sauce in the refrigerator will wait until it arrives...the right tool can take the cussin' out of cannin'. Thank you, Rayne!
