A picture named Larry0veglove.jpgLarry II Burns Crop Circle On 'Ove' Glove

In a stunning move reminiscent of prime OT Michael Jordan, Larry II lept into the unexpecting grasp of 'Ove' Glove, who was hanging helplessly by his newly-discovered loop. 'Ove' Glove screeched with pain as his Kevlar fibers melted and could offer no meaningful resistance.

A foul-smelling perfect ring of smoke rose slowly to the ceiling. The lights flickered. The radio switched to a station with 99 out-of-tune sitars playing George's Norwegian Wood licks, an opening act for McCartney's latest Vegas revue.

When the air was cleared of the clamor and smoke, Larry II was smugly sitting in a burnt crop circle on the limp fingers of 'Ove' Glove. On his cap you can clearly see the number 766, an easy hundred more than the number we dare not think.

I'm beginning to have some second thoughts about recommending these mushroom kits.

Computer Fun: After I installed the Kodak EasyShare software for my camera today, the computer brings up Internet Explorer when I attach the USB cable. Then it jumps to my Radio Userland homepage. That scared me. It's somewhat of a relief that Radio still works, but I had to move the Kodak software to the other computer to get it to work. If a human being did something like this, you know, like suddenly start switching the TV on and off after you gave him a birthday cake, you would say he was insane. Yet we tolerate this sort of behavior from software and OSs because we've become accustomed to it.

A picture named LarrY-II.jpgLarry II

This is the first known photograph of Larry II, nearly actual size. He grows while the little guys starve. He is sucking up all the nutrients and hoarding them. You can see some of the little guys around him. They haven't grown a smidgen in the last 5 days. Larry II is evil. I plan to write the President about him. The State Of The Mushroom address is scheduled soon and I want to be certain that this fungal parasite is identified as a blight on humanity. We can no longer afford to ignore him.

Hey.

Say What?

What is that?

Uh...I dunno.

I don't like it.

No.

Let's shoot it.

Nah.

Why not?

It's too big to shoot.

Okay, let's nuke it.

No.

Why not?

It ain't big enough to nuke.

Okay, what should we do?

Ignore it?

No. I still don't like it.

                Can we starve it?

Nah. Takes too long. Let’s nuke it.
