A couple of cheap knives They are great. You can get them both for under 2 dollars! The top one comes in packs of two that you can usually find at stores like Dollar General. It is dull by nature and that is good, making it perfect for paring against the thumb when you don't want to cut yourself, which is probably most of the time. The ideal tool for removing the stems and tips of green beans. The short blade keeps it under complete control. The lower one normally sells for about 3 bucks, but sometimes (about once every two months), I see it marked down to $1.50 at Kroger. When I do, I picl up 3 or 4 and pass them out to foodie friends. The serrated edge makes it great for slicing tomatoes or making lime wedges (for margaritas, you fool!). Again, total control for delicate tasks. This one, unlike knife #1, can bite you if you sneak up on it unexpectedly (don't put it in a desk drawer at work unless you want to see your co-workers point and you and laugh themselves to tears as you do "the pain dance"). Best description of this album I've heard is that it is "like the music you hear in your mind slowly awaking from a vived dream." If you like it, you can order this CD from Moosemart. Mike also has a website. Of course he has a website, doesn't everybody? But I direct you to his, especially if you live in France, Germany, The UK, Finland, or Italy because Mike's going to playing and teaching over there until early April.
