Gulf states warn US over Syria The Gulf Co-operation Council (GCC) - whose members control nearly half the world's known oil reserves - also said that setting up a transitional government in US-occupied Iraq was an urgent priority. This underlines the major flaw in The Bully Doctrine, when you piss people off by bumping them around they tend to retaliate. It should be obvious, but power goes to the heads of people who think they're above it all. They are, but we're not. We'll be the ones paying 3 bucks a gallon for gasoline.
