Word from the signmaker:
7Don't be deceived. God is not mocked, for whatever a man sows, that will he also reap.
("Galatians" always had a nice ring to my ear, because I was a sci-fi fan and it sounded like "Galaxians." I'd get this image of super-intelligent space creatures who were being instructed by this Saint from whom I got my Christian name. Despite this extraterrestrial bonding and a bit of false pride, I'd still mispell them sometimes as "Gelatinous." Later, much to my embarrassment, I learned that gelatin was manufactured from cows’ hooves, but that was still okay after I learned that you could make Jell-O taste much better if you substituted the juice from the can of fruit cocktail for some of the water. Then I’d squirt some Reddy-Whip on it and read more sci-fi, hoping to grok some more. Sometimes I’d spill Jell-O on the pages of Asimov or Bradbury and they’d be stuck together the next time I tried to read. That was a royal pain in the butt.)

http://tinyurl.com/h10t
That's a tiny URL, created at TinyURL.com. I have to thank Red Ritzer at WIFLblog for using a shortcut on his banner. What good is a tiny URL? Well, have you ever noticed how sometimes your blogspace goes W I D E? One savvy slogger explained to several of us head-scratchers that a long URL could be the culprit. even when it is hyperlinked. Tiny URL creates a little one out of a big one for you, just like a prisoner workin' on a rockpile. I don't know for sure if that will keep the blog boundaries under control, but it doesn't hurt to try.
If it works, this tiny URL will take you to this address via MapQuest: 3701 Rochambeau Dr, Williamsburg, VA 23188
Why would you want to go there? To check out the new Tienda warehouse! They're linked at the left here. They have great Spanish food at reasonable prices. I think it would make a nice day trip from here. Here’s the email they sent me:
Dear Local Friends of Tienda,
Come see us at our new shop the next time you visit our town of Williamsburg, Virginia! Since you live close by and may be coming our way, we want to extend an invitation to visit us here. We just moved into our expanded warehouse, which is bursting with fine products from Spain, both food and ceramics.
On Saturday the shop is open especially for out of town visitors from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM when we will have treats for you to sample. You are welcome to stop by during the week from 12:00 Noon until 5:00 PM.
Many of our Tienda friends made day trips from the Washington Area, Richmond, and Virginia Beach at our earlier locations. While others from across the country dropped by when they were visiting Colonial Williamsburg and Busch Gardens -- and, as a bonus, saved on shipping!
DIRECTIONS: Take I--64 to Exit 231A (Toano/Lightfoot exit). There will be a traffic signal in a few yards Turn RIGHT onto Rt 30 (Rochambeau Drive) and follow the country road for about 2 miles. On the left, look for the Spanish and American flags on our building, just before Stonehouse Elementary School.
Un Abrazo,
Don Harris

Robertson Asks For A Sign From God
"We ask for miracles in regard to the Supreme Court," Robertson said on the Christian Broadcasting Network's "The 700 Club."
Robertson has launched a 21-day "prayer offensive" directed at the Supreme Court in the wake of its 6-3 June vote that decriminalized sodomy. Robertson said in a letter on the CBN Web site that the ruling "has opened the door to homosexual marriage, bigamy, legalized prostitution and even incest."
The same letter targets three justices in particular: "One justice is 83-years-old, another has cancer and another has a heart condition. Would it not be possible for God to put it in the minds of these three judges that the time has come to retire?"
Judging from the descriptions, Robertson was referring to Justice John Paul Stevens, who was born in 1920, and Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg, who had colon cancer surgery in 1999. The identity of the third justice was unclear.
