Bing Cherry Preserves Printing up the labels is half the fun. I'm taking a couple pints with up to the Armadillo to see if I can scare up a pint of amber liquid with them. Too much rain: We're waterlogged. Trees already stressed by the freezing rain of the winter are uprooting at the slightest provocation.   Good News: Even with the hot summer in Germany, they will not run out of beer. "Brewers are working around the clock. Overtime is common, people are working weekends, and breweries are on triple shifts," said Erich Dederichs, managing director of the German Beer Brewers' Association.
