A picture named lard and ove glove.jpg

Mmmmmm - LARD!

When you reach the checkout and all you have is a tub of lard, two packages of smoked pork knuckles, a bag of dried beans, and a 12-pack, people look at you funny.

Official: Saddam Scientists Justified War

U.S. Arms Control Chief Says Capability of Scientists Under Saddam Helped Justify Invasion

Fresh from his “diplomatic” tour of North Korea, where they banished him by name for being an asshole, this guy has resurfaced in Paris where he’s patiently lecturing the frogs, doing his best to say “programs” are adequate justification for an unprovoked invasion of a sovereign nation. It’s a hard sell, especially to the French, where memories of unprovoked invasions haven’t faded that much in the past 60 years.

“Official” has quite a resume, including work heading the Bush legal team in Florida, support for the Contras in Nicaragua, and part time work undermining the ABM treaty, the Comprehensive Test Ban Treaty, and the United Nations. He also single-handedly sabotaged the 2001 UN bio-weapons conference in Geneva.

This is the man sent to France to assist in getting support for a new UN resolution in Iraq.

The September 14 issue of Virtual Occoquan is the Advice Column issue. Yes, now it is your chance to tell impressionable minds how to handle complicated situations in their unworthy lives. Formulate the questions they might be asking you and then do your best Dear Abby (Hoffman might work).

Send submissions to Dave Pollard and/or Mark Hoback
