Frog-Walk

This limited edition print (150) is available here. It could quickly become a collectors’ item – now how much would you pay? 35 pounds?

Here, courtesy of HyperDictionary is the definition of frogmarch:

FROGMARCH

Pronunciation:

'frâgmârtsh

WordNet Dictionary

Definition:

1.      [v]  carry someone against his will upside down such that each limb is held by one person

2.      [v]  march a person against his will by any method

Rayne has some more things to say about this, but being a gentle person she prefers to see the frogs walking instead of marching. There is ample room for minor differences of opinion among enlightened minds (Though I haven’t heard her pronounce “tomato”). I don't know which is correct, maybe Time will tell.

First time I saw a Francis The Talking Mule movie, I knew right then that when I grew up I wanted to be like Donald O’Connor. He always knew what to say and seemed to have a glow around him. When he came on the screen, there was always anticipation – even as a child I understood what it meant to in the presences of greatness. Later on, I became more sophisticated in my tastes and he seemed to be overwrought. After I got over that, he became once again one of the funniest and most entertaining guys ever produced by humanity. He left us with a joke. He never won an Oscar, but asked that his last words be stated as, “I’d like to thank the Academy in advance for the lifetime achievement award they’ll eventually give me.” Those aren’t the exact words, I couldn’t find the quote. His words were funnier.

Herb Gardner (what a great name!) also left us this week. A Thousand Clowns with Jason Robards is one of my all-time favorite movies from the first time I saw it on a base theater at Ft. Sam Houston in San Antonio, Texas. For about two weeks, a lot of the guys in the barracks took to imitating the Robards character, standing outside at yelling “Okay, barracks 7, let’s fall out for volleyball!” I was not one of those guys, but I appreciated them.

The CD label

I put the original album down on the carpet beneath an overhead light and photograhed it for the background.

Nero's cover designer software imports the track list from the CD you just burned, so you don't have to type them in again.

A picture named The Nero Part.jpg

Here's a screenshot of Nero set up to burn an audio CD. Notice those 2 second pauses before each track. I selected tracks 2 through 11. right-clicked, and changed this to zero to preserve the original intent. Nero does not allow you yo remove the pause on the first track. The Nero Interface is a lot like Windows Explorer, allowing you to navigate and select in the right panel and showing you compilation on the left.
