Twyla Naps Peacefully, Knowing There Is One Less Evil Human To Worry About

And Liz & I are having a rib roast, being done the way Alton Brown suggested, roasting slowly at 200º until the internal temperature reaches 118º, coasting up another 12 degrees on the counter, then back into a 500º oven for 15 minutes to make the crust. I’m gonna try to fit a Yorkshire pudding into the oven while the roast coasts.

Goat's slogan remains sacred

Billy Goat tavern has settled its federal lawsuit over its "cheezborger, cheezborger" trademark after a Florida restaurant chain with a similar name agreed not to open any more stores within a 125-mile radius of Chicago.

The agreement allows Cheeburger Cheeburger to operate one restaurant in suburban Glenview that had been set to open this week until the litigation interfered, Raymond P. Niro Jr., the Billy Goat's lawyer, said Friday.

Under the agreement, that restaurant is limited to the singular name "Cheeburger" and must use the name in conjunction with the chain's slogan, "Big is better."
