Tears of joy for Roy

Whew!

It’s exciting to see the home team win but, at my age, I think I’d rather have a root canal than go through the agony of watching it happen.

Illinois, I love you, you were (and still are) a good home for my family, but the two losses this season, to my Beloved Buckeyes and Beloved Tar Heels are what I'll remember about your best team ever. Too bad. This game could have been decided as fairly by a coin flip. This was the best NCAA tournament ever.

Best of all, no food will be wasted.

Maybe, if I can hold my breath another 20 minutes, the Tar Heels will win this match up. 13 points at halftime means absolutely nothing against either of these teams. It’s like watching two Titans arm wrestle, you just stay out the fuckin’ way. The Chapel Hill Police got the morning off, according to Liz. Lucky nobody robbed a bank. They are all on alert for tonight. Liz says it would be a real waste if if Carolina loses because the logistics coordinator ordered 200 box lunches for the cops (I wonder of they have cheese and doughnuts in them boxes).

Turnin’ Carolina blue, still holding my breath…
