Ready To Fry Up!
That’s what we say here down south when we’re done choppin’ up the god damn vegetables for an authentic Oriental style fry. Ain’t as good as roast pig, but it’s still some mighty fine eatin’. In the front row there’s yellow bell pepper, celery, zucchini, and some scallions that we call green onions so as not to confuse ‘em with a wild horse. Second row: A Jesus-lovin’ T-bone sliced up all purty, yellow squash, carrots, broccoli, and some bok choy. In the last row are some sourdough loaves a’risin like the Japanese sun, but they ain’t going into the wok, and some shiitake mushrooms, which are.
Now here's today's spam jewel:
Never complain. Never explain.
In idleness there is a perpetual despair.
Philosophy, n. A route of many roads leading from nowhere to nothing.
The cruelest lies are often told in silence.
