It’s not widely known, but pioneers in alternative fuel production have been experimenting with homemade ethanol for nearly a century. They’ve perfected their methods over time and can no produce a fuel that is safe enough to drink. I picked up a sample in a mason jar just yesterday, because you never know when you might run out of gas.
Okay, so it’s moonshine. One of the tricks with that, to take off the edge, is to put a peach in the jar and let it rest about six months. I’ve been reading about homemade lemon spirits lately, however, and got inspired to put the Buddha’s Hand in the moonshine instead. It was too big to fit in even a wide-mouthed jar, so I got this extra big jar and vacuum sealed it. It will be a few months before we’ll know the outcome of this experiment.

Take a moment and listen to Earthworm, a musical homage to garage bands across the country and around the word. There is no "hook" in it.
