Tim/Bobby left on his great adventure - he took the train to Portland, Oregon (from Sacramento, CA) At the last minute he almost backed out but I'd given him a wrapped package to open after the train pulled out of the station.  This is a HUGE step for him.  Everyone in the whole neighborhood gave him their phone numbers to call COLLECT if he needed to talk or just got scared.          Had to pick son-in-law Brian up from the outpatient surgical sectionof the hospital. The 11 broken noses he received in the NHL finally ganged up on him and he needed extensive repair work.  Got him situated at home (with the dogs) and beat feet clear across town (AGAIN) to see if I could see.  Opthamologists aren't sure.  I have to go back in 6 months - IF I can find the place.  Helped Crazy Cousin Babs & Anthony fill bags with goodies.  Thought we were going to Brian's folks' home for dinner & trick or treaters... but Bri was still feeling horrible. Everything canceled.  So, I knocked on my door.  I opened it.  I said to me, "Trick or Treat" - and I gave myself a huge bag of M&M's.  My costume?   A large hat that read: "Cheap last minute costume"  -  It was the best of the evening.  That's why the big reward. heh heh  I am SOOOO good to me.  (I love the purple ones)
