The Hard Line
The good folks over at Radio Free Blogistan posted a link to a provocative (to say the least) article on the conflict of civilizations between the modern world and what the author refers to as Arab traditionalism. If you don't agree with his draconian recommendations - and I certainly don't - at least give him credit for a concise, unflinching and tough-minded analysis of the issues. I dropped the good Captain a note which he posted (in part) and replied to. I expect I'll have more to say in this space in coming days.
