File Under "Doh!"
Yesterday I posted a few glowing remarks about a great post over at Daniel Dolinov's Reflections, which I read hurriedly and assumed he had written himself based on personal experience. Turns out he was providing a translation of another article - also very cool, and still a very good read, but not exactly as advertised. Sorry for the goof and sorry to Daniel for mischaracterizing the post.
Things are a little slow blog-wise this week because I am entertaining a client who is in town to wrap up some business. It's a little traumatic for everyone, since he just got notice he is being laid off and the very large project he had assigned me to undertake for him has been cancelled (or, at least, my participation in it has). Since the man is a personal friend and his business has contributed upwards of 50% of my income over the past five years, I find myself playing the role of career councelor, psychologist and entertainment director (while needing all of the above myself!) in addition to communications consultant. Fortunately it appears he is going to land on his feet somewhere. He leaves town tomorrow morning and I promise to pick up blogging with a vengence once he's gone!
