The Ultimate Comic Book Reference

My bi-weekly expedition to Seattle's greatest comic store (and possibly greatest retail establishment of any description), Comics Dungeon, turned up a copy of the new Standard Catalog of American Comic Books, a massive tome produced by the staff of Comic Buyers Guide and Comic Base. As a contributor to Comic Base, much of my work found its way into the volume, but since the blurbs are uncredited (and the contributors unacknowledged), you will just have to take it on faith that I was responsible for all of your favorite capsule summaries, while the dogs were the work of nameless hacks. Anyway, anyone with an interest in comics as history, culture, trivia or fun should run run RUN to pick up this book. Bring $35 and a wheelbarrow - it's quite a hefty load. In fact, I fear for the future of America's forests if Krause Publications decides to make this an annual edition.
