Seems like there is a new legal way to download music. The new service Magnatune uses an open source model. Artists get 50% of the revenue. They use a try before you buy-Shareware model for music. If you like what you hear you can buy a whole album of music for $5 or music can be licensed for commercial use.

Sneak Peak re Breeze

we are working on a not so secret distance ed partnership that focuses on the creative use of Macromedia technology. Specifically the Breeze and Flash Communications Server products. The key advantages to Breeze are:

1. Author in Powerpoint: the opens up the content production side of the equation to a lot more people in our organization.

2. Present in Flash: whether streaming audio or video, or putting still images, Flash is used by 90% of Internet users

The above combination sets us up for web conferencing and other new capabilities.
