Ted coins a new term the Digeconnix - the digital economy running on Linux. It's basically the decrease of software prices and the coming chance to publish successfully online easier using micropayments... The best free (for non-commercial use) CMS software for me is clearly Moveable Type. A great tool, which some years ago would have cost you $10k+.

IBM Brings the Penguin to its Desktops. This is potentially big news. If IBM successfully pulls this off, there will be little reason for other corporates not to follow Big Blue's lead if they want to get out from under the Microsoft monopoly. [Dan Gillmor's eJournal]
