Just so you know there is an Alberta connection to both Sun and Tim Bray, first off the Father of Java-James Gosling was born and raised in Calgary, Alberta. Tim Bray's father was born and raised in rural Alberta. So the Sun and Alberta connection now has two people from Alberta involved.

I spent part of this evening checking on Onfolio. It requires you to install .Net, and results in a research took and file system, being installed on your computer.
However, I am not sure it delivers more than the existing Copernic products, and Copernic Agent is still free, while Onfolio is $30. For example Copernic Summarizer does just that it summarizes info from web pages, Onfolio seems more like a NetFile Cabinent than anything else. Not sure I will spring for the $30 once my trial software expires!

Guess even though I have seen some of the results of Lazlo on Marc's blog, I still did not get what it was.
Since visiting the corporate site I have more of an understanding that it is a development platform for rich multimedia Internet apps. From the corporate web site:

I think the guys in Vancouver at Clipstream might be interested in this, as their technology is Java based, and does great video streaming.
