LinuxCertified LC2430 laptop. 13 Mar 2004: "This box is the nearest thing to a perfect match for my traveling needs as any laptop I've ever used. The keyboard and screen size are big pluses for me, as are the built-in all-in-one card reader for accessing digital photos and the built-in Linux-compatible modem and Ethernet adapter that replace the three PC Cards (modem, wireless, Ethernet) I travel with now. With the LC2430 I only need one, and I'd need none if I had chose the wireless option that's available. All in all... [Meerkat: An Open Wire Service]

MyStack.Com
This seems worth a try when I get chance, it seems similiart to Furl, in that I think you can create lists of links. However, instead of a storage area on an independent website. MyStack seems to create html you can paste into your blog.
So if this interests you, don't wait for my lead, just give a whirl!

Homemade Embedded BSD Systems. BSD runs nicely on older PCs, but they can be noisy and time-consuming to set up. Worse yet, the hardware may be at the end of its life. Is there a better alternative to dedicated (and closed) hardware devices? Michael Lucas demonstrates using BSD on a low-power, low-fuss Soekris box. [O'Reilly Network ONJava.com]

OSBC 2004-Open Source Business Conference
WOW! What a concept making money with Linux, YIKES, hold onto your hats folks, this earth shattering concept now has a new conference!!!!
from their website:
"The Open Source Business Conference ("OSBC") is the only concerted effort to address and answer the question of how to build a business around OSS. Over the course of the two-day conference, attendees will interact with the brightest thinkers and most innovative practitioners in open source business today. Attendees will leave with both a deeper appreciation of the voids remaining in the OSS arsenal, and a fuller understanding of how to resolve these gaps to build sustainable, higher-margin OSS businesses."
