British Library catalogue soon searchable through Amazon. Amazon has purchased a license to create a searchable index of the entire British Library catalogue, including 1.7 million titles that predate ISBNs. The deal gives Amazon the right to use the British Library's bibliographic catalogue, which contains 2.55 million books.
