This fits in the neither Interp or EE category. If you have piles of old LP-(long play records for those of your with less history), and you can't play them, heres a solution.

A company in Australia has come up with a package solution, that combines a preamp with sound editing software. The key thing with this setup is you can transfer those stacks of LPs from the basement, to the hard drive on your computer, and in the editing process, remove the hisses and pops, and end up with better sound.

The product name is XP201, the compnay is logically enough XPsound, and their URL is equally as logical:
