World Heritage Sites

 The 754 properties which the World Heritage Committee has inscribed on the World Heritage List (582 cultural, 149 natural and 23 mixed properties in 128 States Parties)

from an Albertan perspective, which can be said with pride is that out of the 13 sites listed as World Heritage Sites in Canada, a stunning 5 out of 13 sites are found within Alberta. Alberta is a truly exceptional province!

United States has 18 sites identified, with two adjacent sites being shared between the US and Canada.

While Mexico has 26 World Heritage Sites.

So in North America there are 53 World Heritage Sites in total.
