That's my motto and my excuse for not blogging of late, which is ironic, because I am taking both a writing for print media course and an IT course about technology and society, yet I don't get to really use my blog for either of them *grumble*. I also spent a couple of weeks recovering from an "upgrade" *shudder*. I am beginning to get some idea of why bells and whistles are so important: Because when you can't get the damned thing out of the garage, the only thing you can do is play with the bells and whistles. Not that I hold a grudge.

Has anyone else been following these two recent law suites: the University of Michigan suite (initiated in part by the Bush administration, there's a surprise) to do away with affirmative action in admitting students, with the claim that this discriminates against white students, and the more recent law suite brought against the Governor of Pennsylvania by blind state employees who claim the computer system used by the State government is inaccessible. Has anyone mentioned to management that there is this thing called the ADA? Oops, sorry, I couldn't read that email...I'm feeling in an absinthe sort of mood tonight, don't know why, maybe winter has lasted too long. A few winters away from upstate NY and a person gets soft. It must be all the culture here in Boston, yeah decadence! I'm sending myself to my room for a time-out now. 'Nighty-night, dear readers.

(Speaking of reading, you can find some new reviews I wrote here.
