Friday, October 18, 2002Paula Radcliff and Tim Montgomery have been placed on the IAAF shortlist for athletesof the year.
Britain's Radcliff blew away the woman's marathon record in Chicago last week. She also set the 10,000 meter record during the summer. Montgomery broke the 3-year-old 100 meter mark previously held by Maurice Greene. The athletes of the year will be announced in November.
