Puerto Rico Photos

Local beach at nightfall. You can't see it, but locals have completely trashed this beach. I "removed" some of the trash to clean up the photo.

Old Roberto Clemente mural. This really struck me when I saw it. I had to go back to get a picture of it.

Old San Juan graveyard. I thought this was a very special place. It is odd seeing it right on the coast.

Spanish Colonial architecture. Only a few of the roads in Old San Juan are coblestone. This is probably the only one without cars parked on both sides of it. I had to search to get a "car-less" shot.

A winding trail in El Yunque rainforest. Very nice hiking.

Creek in El Yunque. This eventually feeds inot the big water fall everybody swims under.

The waterfall in rainforest that locals and tourists visit to get under. Very cold water. Very.

55 foot Catamaran near the islands. We were on this very boat for a 5 hour cruise that included, swimming, snorkling, lunch, snacks, and all the rum drinks you could put down. Even though we didn't drink, we felt it was more than worth the price. The captain was racing other boats back in the early afternoon. It was a blst to watch them try a block the breeze from the other boats.

Some kind of fish seen while snorkling. This and the following two were taking with a disposable underwater point-and-shoot.

Two fish.

And yet another.
