Postcards from Fallujah

A year after the United States' illegal, immoral, imperialistic and unprovoked invasion of Iraq, Iraqis sure are WARMING UP to Americans, just as the Bush regime had predicted they would! Upper left: "Iraqis chant anti-American slogans on a bridge over the Euphrates River where charred bodies are hanging in Fallujah, west of Baghdad, Wednesday, March 31. Defiant residents celebrated the murder and mutilation of four American contractors ambushed by rebels a day earlier," reports the Associated Press in its caption for this photo. Lower left: "The body of a man sitting in the driver's seat is engulfed in flames after an attack in the restive town of Fallujah on March 31. President George W. Bush saw the gruesome images of American civilians whose charred bodies were dragged through the streets of Fallujah, and will not be deterred from finishing the U.S. mission in Iraq, the White House said on April 1," reports Reuters in its caption for this photo. Lower right: "Flames engulf the remains of a person killed in Fallujah, west of Baghdad, Wednesday, March 31. Gunmen in Fallujah attacked two civilian cars that residents said were carrying up to eight foreign nationals. The occupants of the cars were killed and their vehicles were set on fire," reports the Associated Press in its caption for this photo.
