Saddam in his skivvies: The Bush regime has denounced British tabloid The Sun's publication of a photo of Saddam Hussein in his underwear (above). A U.S. military statement regarding the underwear-photo scandal huffed that the photo violates military guidelines "and possibly Geneva Convention guidelines for the humane treatment of detained individuals." (Because, you know, the members of the Bush regime are fucking experts in the Geneva Convention guidelines for the humane treatment of detained individuals.)
The Sun says that the U.S. military gave it the picture "in the hope of dealing a body blow to the resistance in Iraq." (I believe The Sun. I'd believe a tabloid's word over my own fucking filthy lying government's word any day.)
"We take seriously our responsibility to ensure the safety and security of all detainees," the U.S. military statement about The Sun's publication of the Saddam-in-his-underwear photo actually claimed.
Mmmm-hmmmmm. Here is one of the many infamous Abu Ghraib prison photographs, from thememoryhole.org:

This poor Iraqi dude has women's underwear on his head.
The Saddam-in-his-underwear photo is quite respectful by comparison. (And I have to say that Saddam looks much better in his underwear than I would have imagined.)
It's funny, in a Nazi humor kinda way, how the fascist Bush regime is trying to blame the media, such as Newsweek and The Sun, for its own appalling evildoing.
And it's, um, interesting how the Bush regime, a la 1984, is trying to change history to read, "We [took] seriously our responsibility to ensure the safety and security of all detainees."
Memo to the BushNazis: Some of us still have fucking memories, assholes -- although I'm sure that your Dr. Mengeles are hard at work to solve that problem.
