On semi-hiatus again today.  I’ve got too much running around and chasing to do.  I’m meeting with a friend about possibly starting a business, since jobs look really thin.  If you can’t beat employers, join ‘em.  Gotta’ see if I can take that cheesy Bush tax rebate and parlay it into a nice big fat tax write-off, just like a Republican.  It’s certainly not doing much for anyone tied up in a bond fund; so much for economic stimulus.  

And a dinner party this evening, one of these corporate-team-building-exercise-type dinners.  You know the kind, where all the spouses are invited and expected to join...[redacted - comments removed]

I’ll be the one in the charcoal gray sleeveless top and slacks with the raspberry shawl; the one trying not to drink too much wine with dinner and make polite apolitical non-controversial conversation, avoiding my favorite topics of human emergence and quantum physics. [redacted - comments removed]

So, it’ll be fun, right?  I mean, there could be blogging material out of this, right? 

God, I sure hope so.
