Thankfully, Jan Haugland lit the fire under our diablog this weekend, when my folks were at my sister’s house.  I had more time to spend on blogging responses.  They’re back as of this afternoon, meaning less time to blog.

[Jan, I beg you, please don’t press my buttons again until after the ‘rents leave on the 26^th.  You have no idea how it’s tormented me that I couldn’t post in response to your entries over the last several weeks on religion and science!  You’re merciless, have pity!]

Study: Network news reports continue to ignore Hispanics (CNN)

Hello?  It’s not just Hispanics inside the US that aren’t getting air time – it’s Hispanic-Latin Americans outside the US that don’t get air time.

Miguel Octavio’s posts continue to depict the enormity of the gap between what we see in the US press and the reality of Venezuela.

One can only imagine the gaps that must also exist in reporting on other Hispanic-Latin American issues.

Can only wonder what the REAL story is in Colombia about drugs, and in Mexico about trade…
