I’m escaping for the first time in ten Mother’s Days to do something for myself.

After a little spiritual reconnaissance with a close friend, I’m going to lavish time on exploring the Medici, Michelangelo and the arts of late Renaissance Florence.

I don’t think I’ll have it in me to post at all on Sunday, especially since I’ve had a late night out with friends already.
