| Rayne Today Searching for dharma, in spite of the weather... NOTE: Don’t confuse “schadenfreude”…
Yeah. It’s not schadenfreude that I’m feeling over the implosion of the following people: Newt Gingrich Trent Lott William Bennett Rush Limbaugh It’s righteous anger I’m feeling. There’s not one whit of glee in know that these miserable frauds have pulled the wool over the eyes of many of the American public. There’s not one bit of pleasure in having known deep in one’s gut all along there was something not quite right about these people, but proof was slow in coming. It’s a lovely word, schadenfreude; it rolls off the tongue trippingly. How efficient of the Germans, to express in one beautiful word that which English requires multiple words to convey. But dark happiness or harming joy are definitely not what I’m feeling. Far from it. Try indignation and disgust at having been force-fed humble pie for all the wrong reasons for far too long. Wonder if the Germans have a lovely word for that, too?
