Ack.  We’ve got the creeping crud here.  I blame working with too many elementary school kids on the FIRST Lego League team; my team is a collection of charming little biological weaponry, fully loaded and dispensing their viral loads at will.

Sore throats, temperatures, aches, sneezes, running noses.  Lovely stuff.  The six-year-old slept 14 hours, from 4:30 pm yesterday until 6:30 am this morning, offering a lovely respite from his constant whining about his poor chapped nose.  Poor thing.  The nine-year-old choked it out for two hours at school before paging me to come and get her, to ply her with chicken soup and ibuprofen here at home.

I’ve got the same stuff.  Best medicine?  Leave me alone.

I’ll be back when I’m not feeling like I’ve been dragged through a knothole backwards.
