| Rayne Today Searching for dharma, in spite of the weather... Sorry -- just tweaking XML
Sorry to mislead you - no new content, just fixing some broken XML and tweaking some colors. If this had been done by an actual geek, you'd be reading real content right now. <sigh> 7:45:29 PM
Dear Joan Kroc--
Whereever you are, thank you so very, very much.
Imagine the biggest Happy Meal in the world.
I don’t know what happened; I was just trying to freshen up the joint by changing the draperies here. Now my comments are gone!!! Anybody have a suggestion on what might have happened? Email me at rayne_today –at- yahoo.com, please. (Blogroll and WeatherPixie will be reinstituted as soon as possible, following return of comments!)
There’s a number of explanations provided in comments yesterday on the why of software. Interesting, gang, but it doesn’t resonate as a complete answer. We’re still tripping over the fundamentals. I understand entirely that software manipulates hardware, but why? Let’s look at this from another perspective, using computer hardware as a correlate to the human body. There is some amount of hardware control that’s on board, in the hardware. In the case of the human being, it’s encoded in genetics. Why is not ALL instructional hardware control on board?
Or is it, in the case of the human correlate?
