Broadband arrived yesterday afternoon, but the wireless router didn't arrive until evening.  Somewhere in that gap we missed a CAT5 cable we need between the router and this desktop, in order to configure the router before I can go wireless.

Recap: because I'm missing a wire, I'm still wired.
