I've been in pain for two days now, applying heat and ibuprofen frequently to the upper quadrant of my back.  I woke up with stabbing pain on the right the morning before last, and yesterday morning with pain on the left.  The kids have been taking turns massaging my shoulders, being the helpful little cusses that they are.  Unfortunately the cuss part takes over after a while when they realize I'm prone, unable to jump up to defend myself; I have to curtail their ministrations or I become a punching bag with life-like sound effects.

In short: I have a massive pain in my neck.

Coincidence, based on yesterday's short missive?
