Sorry, yet again no pithy, witty, artsy-smartsy post here.  Just another braindead rat, fallen out of the race at the end of the day.

I spent more than half of my work day hand-holding an executive through a migration from [- gasp! -] an iMac and an iBook to a Windows laptop today.  I will spend yet another half a day tomorrow to complete this -- and most of that will be spent cleaning up files on the Apple systems so that they'll migrate to XP/Office.  Way too many filenames with punctuation marks in them.   Grrr. 

Understatement, that growl.  There are about 700 documents that I must clean up to migrate.

Maybe I'll get lucky and somebody will vote me off the island or send me to the board room.

But I'm guessing I won't be that lucky.

Ah!  I forgot, that single assured pleasure that comes each week for those poor rats racing 8-to-5, M-F!!
