I know, I've not posted anything today.

But I have a perfectly good excuse for "slacking off".

TAXES.

Yes, I'm pulling together tax papers in preparation for tomorrow's torture session with the tax preparer.  Yes, I'm arguing with my husband about money and expenses and taxes and all that jazz.  Yes, I'd really like a stiff drink right now.

But I can't have one for the same reason I can't post.  I'm too busy hunting down the odd slip of paper that's gone astray or deciphering a bizarre statement to determine whether someone paid me, I paid them, or none of the above.

Wish me luck.  And wish me more time to blog tomorrow.
